I discovered that I was infected with the virus 3 months ago, after a medical check-up. My doctor told me and I was shocked, confused and felt like my world has crumbled. I was dying slowly due to the announcement of my medical practitioner but he assured me that I could leave a normal life if I took my medications (as there was no medically known cure to Herpes). I went from churches to churches but soon found that my case needed urgent attention as I was growing lean due to fear of dying anytime soon. In a bid to look for a lasting solution to my predicament, I sought for solutions from the herbal world. I went online and searched for every powerful trado-medical practitioner that I could severe, cos I heard that the African Herbs had a cure to the Herpes syndrome. It was after a little time searching the web that I came across one Dr Itua(A powerful African Herbal Doctor), who offered to help me at a monetary fee. I had to comply as this was my final bus-stop to receiving a perfect healing. My last resolve was to take my life by myself, should this plan fail. At last it worked out well. He gave me some steps to follow and I meticulously carried out all his instructions. Last month, to be precise, I went back to the hospital to conduct another test and to my amazement, the results showed that negative,Dr Itua Can As Well Cure The Following Desease…Cancer,Hiv,Herpes, Hepatitis B,Liver Inflammatory,Diabetis,Fribroid, Dercum, fibromyalgia,Get Your Ex Back,Als,SYPHILLIS. I also teach kindergarten and we end our year with similiar themes. We just finished our far theme and are now working on an ocean theme. We will finish with insects, butterflies and pond life. The end of the year is always so crazy. I feel your pain. You have an adorable blog and I look forward to following you! I have a new blog and would love for you to stop by.Co-Kinderinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15536436750859200112noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23260203558413748.post-15338528866997990752012-04-22T23:39:45.180-04:002012-04-22T23:39:45.180-04:00Hi Steph!
I'm so sorry for the loss of your ...Hi Steph!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your grandparents. It sounds like they were wonderful people. I think 58 years is amazing, too!

I wanted to respond to your comment on my blog about thematic teaching. To make a long story short, since we switched to the Common Core Standards this year, we basically used the curriculum map we had used the year before and instead of breaking everything up into chunks of Comm. Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies, we decided we were going to have to integrate everything or there was no way we'd ever fit it all in. Do you have a curriculum map or pacing guide that you go by? If not, Google Kindergarten Common Core Pacing Guide and there are a variety of them out there. That might help get you started.

As far as themes were concerned, we basically chose science and social studies relevant themes and incorporated them into math and Comm. Arts. That way, we didn't feel like we were completely reinventing the wheel. However, I'm not going to lie, we have had many themes where we thought there were pieces missing and we didn't have the resources we needed to make the unit our absolute best. (This year has been all about trial and error!)

I really liked Deanna Jump's units and Deedee Will's a Peek at My Week because what they were doing generally landed around the same themes we were incorporating.

If you'd like me to give you a list of our themes, I'd be happy to make one for you. Just let me know. I didn't tie myself to a schedule so much this year with each them. In the past, I would say one unit would be one week, another might be 2 1/2 weeks. This year, I let my students needs determine where I was going. I felt like I had to because I didn't want to spend as much time teaching to the middle if you know what I mean. I did a lot of pretesting this year so that I wasn't beating a dead horse, so to speak.

I hope this helps a little. I'd be happy to help you in any way I can. Just let me know. Also, don't hesitate to ask. I don't have all the answers, but I have lots of fabulous readers that could help, too!

Blessings,
Marlana
Lil' Country KindergartenMarlanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07884674618478175955noreply@blogger.com
